Brand NEW! These are specialty LED light bulbs that fit standard E26 regular standard household size North American bulb socket, 110-120v AC power. Made from shatter resistant plastic. These are higher power bulbs, 20w LED, which give up to 1600 Lumens of soft white light, approximately 3000 kelvin color temperature. Generally each LED watt gives off about 80 lumens of light. They features two integrated microchip technologies inside the bulb. These are Dusk-to-Dawn bulbs meaning that they will only activate in dark environments. This way they help save electricity when it’s bright during the daytime because they will not turn on when the surrounding conditions are bright. They also contain a PID penetrating radar technology sensor, so that when the bulb senses movement, then it will turn on the bulb. This is superior to the older style infrared type bubble sensors found on certain motion detection bulbs. Again, this helps save electricity only when it senses motion. These are ideal for outside lights where you only want them to turn on when they sense motion at night, and then they will automatically turn off after 30 seconds when there is no longer any motion. They can also be used for table lamps or indoor ceiling lights where you might want them to only turn on if they sense motion in a dark room, and then they’ll automatically turn off once the bulb doesn’t sense any more motion. They have a 360-degree beam angle, and the motion sensor will only activate if it senses motion within 3 to 6 meters (about 10ft to 20ft), and after the motion stops then it turns off after about 30 seconds. These will NOT activate in bright conditions, so if you mount them outside in the daylight they will not turn on even with motion during the daytime. Therefore, these only work in dark environments for the bulb to activate, and then it needs to sense motion in a dark environment to then turn on the light. They will not work if they are placed too close to other motion sensor bulbs, and they will not work if the ambient illumination is too bright which interferes with the dawn-to-dusk sensor, and they will not work in fixtures that are mostly or fully enclosed which interferes with the motion sensor. Therefore if the bulbs won’t activate after you purchase them, it is because of your light fixture and situation, and NOT because the bulb is defective.
