Q: Can these bulbs be used on a 8′ fluorescent fixture that the base says T-12 ? A:These are 8ft bulbs and are for use in a standard 8ft fixture. T-12 referes to the diameter and this will not be a factor for these bulbs. They are a pin base or FA8, not a two prong « bi-pin » as some fixtures so make sure this is correct. Also, you will need to bypass the ballast, and wire one side to neutral and the other side to hot FAQ : Q: What is recommended for an office? Clear or frosted A: The clear cover is a bit brighter than frosted cover. Q: Does this bulb sag in the middle? A1:They sag approximately 1/2 inch. Over the total length it is barely noticeable. A2:Yes slightly. I used some clear fishing line and attached it to the screw that use to hold on the balest. Application / Usage: Replacement for conventional fluorescent tubes lights.
